Sarahjane Gillies

Sarahjane Gillies is a parent, working mum and teacher and understands the pressures of modern day parenting. After having her son and realising how little professional support and advice there was for parents wanting to do their best in supporting and understanding their children's behaviour she began offering workshops to local parents. Sarahjane uses her extensive knowledge and experience of teaching and working with families alongside her practical experience of a mum to support parents in one of the most challenging jobs- parenting! We all assume we have the knowledge to parent but times change and so must we. As parents we all want the best for our children and to be the best parent possible, which means sometimes we need to ask for support and help. Sarahjane can explain why children behave they way they do, give parents tools to manage tricky situations in an approachable manner with professional experience.

"The Bringing Up Boys workshop was brilliant in explaining how we need to adapt our parenting to the specific needs of boys. Sarah Jane was able to explain why children sometimes behave in a way that challenges us as parents. She also gave us lots of ideas for not only managing difficult situations, but preventing them from happening in the first place."

Id highly recommend the Parent Education Company workshops and Im already looking forward to the next one.
